Little Ducks have grown up

You sit there in my shadows
And you call it your relief
Don’t be the one with bad eyes for
The things that I could see
(Don’t give me that)The darkness has no armor
Need protection from the air
High hopes through time passing
When I see I want you there[Chorus]
I can’t believe
You’re the one for me
If it was this easy to find you
I should be ready for a fall
I should be ready for a fallNow my wonders rally
Around the person I once was
Like a bird that I’ve been helping
Hope you’re healed and strong
You never know when you might have to fly
And you call it your relief
Don’t be the one with bad eyes for
The things that I could see
(Don’t give me that)The darkness has no armor
Need protection from the air
High hopes through time passing
When I see I want you there[Chorus]
I can’t believe
You’re the one for me
If it was this easy to find you
I should be ready for a fall
I should be ready for a fallNow my wonders rally
Around the person I once was
Like a bird that I’ve been helping
Hope you’re healed and strong
You never know when you might have to fly
[Pre-Chorus]
Where will you go after me
Where will you go after I set you free
And I don’t know you from a page in my book
Though I should
Though I should
[Chorus]
Where will you go after me
Where will you go after I set you free
And I don’t know you from a page in my book
Though I should
[Chorus Out]
In case no one knows, that’s PJ Olson’s song for Dawson’s Creek session 1.
I heard this song first when i was a thousand kilometers away from my family, feeling home sick and completely bored in a girls dorm in a semi military high school.
(Dont get me wrong, i like the high school, it’s one the best high school in Indonesia.)
The first time i heard it, i fell for it.
The sound, the voice, the lyric, are just amazing.
I never watched Dawson’s Creek but i like the soundtracks.
And i like Joshua Jackson, a fact that i just realize recently after hours of watching and watching again the famous Mighty Ducks Trilogy.
He was extremely cute, beyond all reasons. Though as he grew older, the cuteness reduced a bit, but he still cute compare to Dawson
Just so you know, Mighty Ducks is one of my favorite movie of all time.
Im pretty sure there are many die hard fans of Mighty Ducks all over the world.
I can say this since i found many fan fiction about it. Many are great while some are lame.
(I cant believe that there are actually people who wish Luis Mendoza is gay, any they even paired him with my most-favorite-nerd Lester Averman!!)
I take it that you dont see any connection between me babbling about Mighty Ducks and the song above.
Well, first, i do talk unorganizedly at random speed of random topics.
Second, the song reminds me of Joshua Jackson (the younger version of him in Mighty Ducks #3). And the visions of him just got me carried away with the Mighty Ducks Trilogy. Geez, i wish he never grown. Just stay young and be a cute teenager for the rest of his life…..
But hey, that’s what we do right? Grow up.
I ♥ Lester Averman
I’ve just found this entry because it was linked on the fanlisting that I run. I’m also the person who wrote the Luis/Averman fic. It’s not so much that I *wish* either of them were gay, it’s just they are my favourite characters, and I didn’t want to write a Mary Sue into them. Just thought I’d drop that in.
Sarah!!
)
Dont get me wrong, i actually liked the Luis/Averman fan fict.
I printed the whole stories and read it on my spare time (which is only on the way to or from work
The Tales From The Shoe Box is one of the fan fict that i love the most that i actually print it. The other is another story that pair Averman and Connie. Yes i think by now you know that i love Averman so much!
So please dont get me wrong, i like any stories that focus on my man Averman. Straight or gay. I just love the way he is.
If you can, could you please write another one…please….
Oh, i like Mendoza too. (who doesn’t?)
He’s like my third favorite character after Banksie and Averman
you still love Mighty Ducks huh? hehe.
Well, look at the banner….
I’m working on a sequel to Tales from the Shoebox, (imagainatively called “Tales from the Breadbox”), I’m about four chapters in, and I’m trying to get it finished before I post it, because I fear people shouting at me that I’m doing X, Y and Z and it’s all wrong/bad/caving to demands, so I want to have the entire fic finished before it’s posted. Mostly for my own peace of mind.
great! keep me updated, okay!
I sure will read it!!
Thanks Sarah!
By the way,
I’m changing the banner since right now i am falling in love with Freddie Highmore.. hee….
WHAT ALL OF YOU MORE SPEAK? WHAT????????
